Review – Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

Hi guys, today i want to share with you my experience with Klairs freshly juiced vitamin drop. Actually i’ve heard this brand through youtube for quite some time, but never had the desire to try their products, until a month ago. Recently, i got many hyper pigmentation all around my face caused by the acne scars and it was stressful phase for me because it’s so hard to make it disappear quickly. While searching for the right product to help with my pigmentation, i came across the USA brand called The Ordinary. It has soooo many skincare products with unfamiliar scientific names and no proper description about it, so i’m really confused. I tried to google it, watch youtube videos, read blogs, it helps to enlighten me a bit, but the more i read, the less my willingness to buy it. Not because of the bad reviews, but i feel like that’s just so complicated (too lazy to think and mixed wide range of products without proper guidance at all).

Then after my euphoria for The Ordinary is finally over, i came across this Klairs vitamin drop. It has similar concept with The Ordinary brand, price wise also similar, and this one do have detailed information of the product which i really appreciated. It has pure vitamin c, centella asiatica extracts (heard this is good for acne and acne scars), yuzu extracts, and grape fruit extracts.

From the box :

‘The freshly juiced vitamin drop, which contains 5% L-ascorbic acid, a scientifically proven antioxidant, uses a hybrid stabilization technology that provides enhanced active delivery of L-ascorbic to the skin. L-ascorbic acids helps protect the skin from UV damage while fighting destructive free radicals, stimulating collagen production and improving skin tone and texture’

So, it supposed to improve your skin tone & texture, helps with enlarged pores, brighten your overall complexion (benefit of vitamin C), and helps with acne & acne scars/hyper pigmentation.

Directions :

‘Apply a proper amount over the face and neck in the morning and evening. In the case of sensitive skin, apply a mixture of 1-2 drops with serum or cream’

In my case, i don’t really have sensitive skin, so after washing my face and apply toner, i applied this vitamin drop first all over my face and massage it, then i’ll put my usual day/night cream. It has oily texture, but not as heavy as some pure essential oil. It’s quite runny and light. It has no fragrance in it at all. My first time experience with this drops is when i applied it to my face, it feels kinda warm. But as i get used to it i barely feel the warmth anymore. Only slightly when first contact with my skin. I use this twice a day, but there’s day that i used it only once. I use it twice when i’m at home all day, and use it once in night time when i went out in the afternoon, because i don’t really like the feels of this drops combined with my makeup, it makes me looks more oily than i usually do.

I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and i’m really happy with the result so far. It helps to even out my skintone, helps with my hyper pigmentation (it speeds up the healing really fast and my hyper pigmentation gone much faster than usual) although i didn’t see much difference for my enlarged pores. On my skin, there’s no side effect from the drop at all (no redness, not itchy, no acne caused by it). I’m recommending it to my mom last sunday, she wears mine for 2 days and the first time she applied it, she feels a little bit itchy (maybe due to different skin condition) but mine and my mom’s both are oily skin. Second time, not itchy anymore. She suffering from sun spots and i hope that this vitamin drops also can battling the sun spots well.
