Review & Swatches – Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed

Hello guys! finally i’m back again with another review. Sorry for my absent on these few weeks. Today i will be reviewing my new highlighter, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in shade Opal. I bought this few weeks ago when i’m in singapore on August. Nowadays i’m so addicted to highlighters, after i bought the hourglass ambient lighting powder (review : here) i’ve been wanting to try some other highlighter too. It’s not because the hourglass powder’s not good, but.. you know… that’s what makeup addicts will do.. LOL

Okay, let’s get into the review and swatches now..

First, about the packaging. I freakin love the case design! It’s so unique and very modern looking. The size is just right, thumbs up for the packaging. The mirror inside also quite decent, i love to use the mirror when i don’t have access to big mirror or my hand mirror.

I choose the shade opal, the golden champagne shimmery shade because it’s the most suitable for my skintone and undertone (at least from what i saw when i swatched them all). The texture of this highlighter is so smooth and buttery. I’d say more buttery than my hourglass ambient lighting powder (who wants a versus post? tell me in the comment box!)

Pigmentation of this highlighter also very nice, you can control the intensity easily. I really love the shine reflected from this highlighter. It has no fragrance at all, and for the staying power, It stands for quite a long time before it starts to fade (considering my oily skin). It lasts for 4++ hours and goes away little by little as i’m blotting my face.
